There's a new Vogue in town: Vogue Netherlands

15 February 2022

The new Vogue Netherlands is all about joy, connection and celebration.

More inclusive, more accessible and more engaging than ever, the new Vogue Netherlands will hit newsstands on Thursday, February 17th.

The March issue, the first under the helm of new editor-in-chief, Yeliz Çiçek, features Dutch model Jill Kortleve with a fresh layout and renewed focus on fashion and its communities.

"I am incredibly proud and pleased that the world’s most beautiful platform for celebrating fashion, art, culture and beauty together is relaunching in the Netherlands. This is the country where we will hopefully, more than ever before, listen to each other, give each other space, embrace diversity and celebrate the fact that life is for everyone - not only with regard to the content, the topics and personalities that we cover, but also with the team behind the scenes," said Yeliz Çiçek.

Cover model Jill Kortleve – photographed by international sensation Greg Harris – is in every respect the embodiment of Vogue Netherland’s new path. “I could not think of anyone I would rather have than Jill to grace the cover of our first edition. She is the fresh breeze from the Netherlands who is shaking up the fashion world. Down-to-earth, witty, beautiful and fun, with a healthy dose of positivity, making an impact, initiating change. That is exactly what we, just like Jill, hope to do with the new Vogue.’” said Çiçek.

Vogue Netherlands, in collaboration with The City Dressers, has created Vogue – The Ultimate Gift, a larger-than-life physical artwork that this month, will be travelling through various Dutch cities: Amsterdam, Rotterdam and Eindhoven. Visitors will be able to use an AR filter to open the gift box and see the March cover, as well as order the issue as a limited-edition gift box.

“Our goal with this is to really be a luxury gift for the Dutch readers.” said Maria Nanette Schaepman, Founding Editor, Vogue Netherlands.

Vogue Netherlands produces all of its content entirely in-house, which makes it unique in the Dutch fashion magazine landscape. Its print edition is published ten times per year.

Vogue Netherlands is published under a license agreement between Condé Nast, Bloom Publishing together with LINDA. Condé Nast’s media licensing business publishes editions of the global media company’s iconic brands with local partners around the world.
