Vogue Turkey's Green Awards by Chopard

Vogue Turkey and Chopard held Vogue Green Carpet Awards by Chopard award ceremony at Mandarin Oriental Bosphorus on March 22 in order to raise awareness about sustainability in the luxury industry.

On Tuesday, March 22, Vogue Turkey and Chopard held an award ceremony at Mandarin Oriental Bosphorus in order to raise awareness about sustainability in the luxury industry and to encourage local brands, individuals, and foundations working on sustainability in the industry.

Chopard is the main sponsor of the Vogue Green Carpet Awards, which have been held in various editions around the world for several years but is being held in Turkey for the first time. Vogue Green Carpet Awards by Chopard honored the names who took steps to make significant environmental contributions.

During the ceremony, awards were presented in five different categories. The award winners were Ecording in the Nature Friendly Initiative of the Year category; Fashion Revolution Turkey in the Social Impact Platform of the Year category; Huner in the Sustainable Fashion Brand of the Year category; Esmiyor podcast in the Inspirational Social Media Account of the Year category; and climate activist Ela Naz Bildal in the Young Activist of the Year category.

Hosted by Vogue Turkey and Chopard's Turkey Representative Tektaş Watches & Jewellery Group, the event brought respectable names together such as Business Council for Sustainable Development President Ebru Dildar Edin, who made a difference in her field with her sustainability studies, UNICEF Turkey Representative Regina De Demonicis, UN SDSN Turkey Director Assistant Prof. Dr. Tamer Atabarut, and Consul General of Switzerland Jülien Thöni.

Dilan Çiçek Deniz, Alina Boz, Şükrü Özyıldız, Tuba Ünsal, Birkan Sokullu, Eda Gürkaynak, Rachel Araz Kiresepi, Nur Bilen Yavuzer, Raisa Vanessa Sason, Aslı Filinta and many more were among those who attended the event.

For more than a century, Vogue, empowered creativity and artisanship in every field, has crowned fashion and cared to bring forward the major challenges of the era. In 2022, Vogue took action not only to respect and be concerned about nature but also to take concrete steps on the issues.

Chopard, which is now the world's largest "fairmined gold purchaser", plans to gradually raise its artisanal gold purchase quantity based on market availability.

Vogue Turkey and Chopard, which create a difference in the luxury industry with their sustainability steps, took the first step in a long-term collaboration to put sustainability on the agenda of the world of fashion and jewelry with the Vogue Green Carpet Awards.
